Playdor Nursery FAQ’s
There are a few options; you can contact our nursery manager by telephone or email for an initial chat and some information. Alternatively, just pop down to the nursery and have a look around. There is no need to book an appointment as we have an open-door policy. We would love to say yes to everyone, but we will not always have the days and hours that you need, come as early as you can to avoid disappointment.
If you choose Playdor, your child will get some settling in sessions prior to their official start date. These are free of charge, and we encourage you to stay with them for their initial session in order to build up their confidence and yours! We are for one weeks deposit which will depend on your days/hours, this will then be taken off your first month invoice.
At Playdor your fees will include, nutritious home cooked meals made and served by our wonderful nursery chefs, formula milk (for babies up to 12 months), a range of deliciously healthy snacks such as, blueberry sheet pan pancakes!
All we ask is that you bring along your child’s preferred nappies/wipes and a change of clothes. If you child has a comforter, we are happy for you to pack these as well. We want your child to feel safe and secure during their nursery day so if that means they bring their favourite teddy, then we can’t wait to meet their cuddly friends!
All our nursery staff are DBS checked when they first start at Playdor. All of the team are encouraged to join the DBS update service.
All staff are qualified at Level 3 or higher. Any members of the team who are not qualified are working towards a qualification with the support of the Playdor Family.
